RF DESIGN

The Elve process produces high quality RF structures with low insertion loss verified up to 250 GHz using state-of the art manufacturing.

ELECTRON BEAM

The Elve process includes high quality vacuum, a laminar electron beam, and a four stage depressed collector.

DATA

Cold and hot test measurment data and a report documenting each step are provided.

THREE PHASE DEVELOPEMENT

Phase 1 - MAKE

  • Receive the Elve Process Design Kit

  • Generate and send RF structure design to Elve

  • Elve makes RF structures

  • Elve measures and provides RF structure test data

Phase 2 - TEST

  • Elve integrates the RF structure into a vacuum device built on the medium platform (design details provided in the Elve Process Design Kit)

  • Elve Processes and activates to ultra-high vacuum resulting in a vacuum electronic device

  • Elve characterizes the device, including relevant gain, transfer characteristics, frequencies, and power levels

Phase 3 - INTEGRATE

  • Elve integrates and packages the device with an Electronic Power Conditioner (EPC) which operate at a standard bus voltage with a simple control interface

  • The packaged device is then available for delivery
